TOMI H LAUNCHES FOREVER UPWARD LABEL WITH "WANDER" FEATURING COULSON
London-based producer Tomi H combines melodic techno with afro house elements on his debut single and new imprint.
After a two-year journey bringing the track to life, "Wander" showcases a signature sound that blends deep pulsating rhythms with euphoric melodies.
The track's development wasn't straightforward for Tomi H. After initial label interest fell through due to vocal contract issues, he connected with Luke Coulson, whose professional approach and ethereal vocal style brought the final piece to the puzzle.
When existing labels couldn't accommodate his evolving sound, Tomi H made the leap to start Forever Upward. This decision keeps his creative flow moving without having to rewrite tracks to fit other labels' requirements, while maintaining control over his artistic direction.
Drawing inspiration from summers in Ibiza, "Wander" captures the island's energy while showcasing influences from producers like Samm(BE), Ajna, and The Scripture.
The production benefits from analog Neve mastering, adding texture and punch that brings Tomi H's work to the standard he's always aimed for. He describes the result as "an etheric blend of melodic techno and afro elements that creates an anthemic moment in your set."
With support already coming from top names across different genres, Tomi H has collaborations lined up and performances planned across mainland Europe with DJs Wildness Rose and Varoc. His next release with Pablo Fierro drops August 22nd.
